I have been successfully helping individuals and families for over 20 years.
I am a clinical psychologist in private practice, working with adults,
adolescents, and children as young as two years old. My approach to therapy
is holistic, encompassing the thoughts, emotions, physical health,
nutrition, and relationships of the individual. I teach my clients to tap
into their emotions, manage their stress, and heal from traumatic
experiences.
I am the
author of the critically acclaimed book entitled Anger Work: How To
Express Your Anger and Still Be Kind, and the creator of the Dr.
Puff Podcast. Over the years I have been on staff at Trenton
Psychiatric Hospital, Sepulveda V.A. Medical Hospital, La Puente
Mental Health, and St. Judes Medical Hospital.
In the past several years, I have given
hundreds of media interviews, including magazines, online magazines, TV and
radio talk shows. I have consulted with businesses and organizations. These
people seek my expertise on various psychological topics including: parenting,
relationship issues, depression, healing from past traumas, stress and anger
management.
I teach people how to be kind in all
situations, even when they are angry, and to live a more peaceful life. When you
do this, you enrich not only your own life, but also the lives of those around
you.
Sincerely, Dr. Robert Puff

CD/podcast entitled Living a Peaceful Life. A quote from
Living a Peaceful Life: In simpler terms, live completely in the now. Be
aware of your surroundings, but practice clearing your mind of the self-talk
that clutters your thoughts. Relax and find delight in each and every thing
around you, from the tiniest insect, to the song on your car radio, to a
colorful painting in your doctor’s office. Simply surround yourself in the
wonders of “what is,” and let go of every other thought. As you learn to just be
in the now, the eventual change in you will not only be an acceptance of “what
is,” but a loving of “what is.”
